Technical Illustrations

Flow Diagram

Technical Illustrations are very effective ways
of presenting information.

They can be incorporated into Technical Manuals and Operating Instructions or posted on company websites.

They should not be confused with engineering drawings, which can be difficult for non technical people to interpret.

Whereas a drawing will show every detail, technical illustrations depict exactly what is necessary and may even be slightly distorted to show various views.

They can also depict a process graphically.

They can be used to show cut away, sectioned, and transparent views of equipment.

Cartoons can also be a very powerful
method of getting a message across!

Colours can be used to great effect on illustrations.

Animation is another technique that is suitable for electronic and web site use.
